They removed me and my friend from my car, and made us step away. After looking in my car from the window, one came back and handcuffed my friend and said there was a bag of weed sitting next to him (which there wasn't, there's no way, it isn't possible.) He already had the bag on him, and he was claiming he saw it so he could search my car. Once he searched my entire car and didn't find anything, he showed us a bag with some pot stems in it and said "this gave me the right to search your entire car." The bag was not in my car, I am 100% positive. He was expecting to find something in his search and he didn't, so he had to use his own decoy bag so he wouldn't get in trouble for searching my car without cause, because I didn't give him permission.
I've been talking to my roommate, Hutch, about this, and he thinks you may have some kind of grounds to report the officer. Another cop in Wake County got charged with pulling over "too many pretty girls" last year. It was like a 9:1 ratio of pretty to ugly people. It's lame as hell, I know, but I'd be just as offended.

Why would you be fighting it if it weren't true?
p.s. I'm not saying you need to go tattle on the bastards, just reinstating the fact we deserve freedom to smoke without harassment.
