why is everyone getting married right now?? like, two girls my age, one just got married, and the other is going to soon. i cant even, imagine that. sorry if im sounding mean people but this IS my livejournal so yea, but i feel like marriage has become this strange casual thing. its like, i dont know. we're so damn

i know what you mean, dude. i know five couples who are all between the ages of 19 - 23 and are engaged. i don't understand -- it's such an intense commitment. i can barely commit to an apartment, much less to another person with issues and idiosyncracies all their own.

but i guess if you know, you know. my mom and dad got married at 21 and 23 respectively, and they've been married for 32 years this december.

it depends on the couple, i guess. but it is scary to think about.
