For our honeymoon, Amy and I stayed in Healdsberg, CA for the week. It was beautiful and the town was really nice, the food was amazing and the weather was gorgeous. I have this cell phone that is pretty basic. It doesn't do pictures or text or anything....and sometimes I feel in awe of people who have the more advanced models. On a recent workday, I grabbed my phone on the way to work and noticed a "you have a pix message" rolling down the screen. A pix? That could only mean "picture" but my phone doesn't do that! What's up? I stop in my tracks and read the rest of the scrolling message. Says I have to go to a site on the computer where I can access my "pix". Sounds good...and for some reason, my immediate thought is that it is a pix from Pat my honeymooning son. I rush to the computer and try to get through to the directions my phone says I'll get. But I never get there. Soon as I get to work, despite the fact that I am relatively sure "big bro" is watching, I go again to the site and ultimately I get to the directions, stumble through them and finally, there it is. A pix. Or to us old folks, a "picture". But what is it? Suddenly chills rush up my spine and into my imagination. ( ... )

Thanks Alot, I gotta sleep with the lights on tonight ! I hate that American Gothic essence. I'd watch Steven King's upcoming releases and demand royalties, you were definetly "research". Let this serve as a lesson--Canoeing is EVIL. All that said, how was the actual trip down the river, any Floaters? Coll

Your response is even funnier due to something you are unaware of. There is a conspiracy theorist that believes that Stephen King killed John Lennon. He's been arrested on numerous occassions - showing up at King book signings, causing scenes, etc. I had seen his website years ago and while Amy and I were in CA, we saw the guy's van parked in the town we were staying! That is fantastic! Can't wait to see the pics. There's a whole Twilight Zone feel to this thing. Now if only there were a Rod Sterling Conspiracy Theorist out there, my life would be complete.
