4/50 The Wives of Henry VIII by Antonia Fraser
I really enjoyed Fraser's writing style from Marie Antoinette: The Journey so I've been meaning to read more from her and started with this. Fraser's writing was as lovely as ever, and she really brought the characters to life for me. I was impressed with how much marriage alliances and child-bearing ruled these women's lives. And I thought Katherine Howard, the queen I knew the least about, was hilariously (and painfully) fascinating.
