Winry never told him but she hated how helpless Ed had looked when he was in that wheelchair.

“I don’t know what you kids are doing,” Granny shouted, “but you’re making a helluva racket!”

“Your pores are infected,” Winry said matter-of-factly as she worked on Ed’s arm, trying to repair the damage he had done, “right up next to the automail port.”

“Why does Rezembool have to be so damned hot in the summer?” Ed asked, fanning himself with his hand.
