You know, every time I closed my eyes, the first vision that comes to mind is your smiling face.
That same smile that made my face red.
The one that made my heart leap in giddiness.
The one that made me smile happily in return.
The very same one that made me fell in love with you.
I know I sounded sappy, but that’s how I felt every time you smile at me.
At first, I wondered whether your smile was really just for me. I thought you had shown that smile to everyone. To Teruki. To Bou. To everyone. And not just to me.
You had a variety of smiles (and I mean, quite vast but not as much as Teruki or me) that I’ve seen and experienced ever since we formed the band.
And as our band continued to evolve, I finally found out that you saved one smile. I wouldn’t have realized it back then. Maybe it was because of the fact that I’ve been a bit dense. Okay, maybe not just a little. I was too dense, to be more precise.
However,…I noticed that you only smile that particular smile to me.
Just for me.
And that made me incredible happy.
Why? Because what I’ve found within that smile is your shyness, your timidity,…and the love you have for me.
I thought I may have been dreaming…and I thought I could’ve slapped myself to make sure whether this was reality or not. Seriously, if I weren’t standing there with you, I would’ve slapped myself. And I would’ve slapped myself if I’ve seen myself in the mirror at that moment.
My god, I must’ve looked like a total dork.
Even if I was…it was because of your smile. That very same smile that made me feel special to you.
And now I know…I’m not dreaming.
