Actually I stole "burninated" from a show(? - online only, I think) that I've never watched and generally despise in principle, although I like that word. Homestarrunner, I think. Not sure if it's all one word.
It was appropriate to the situation, I think.
Fortunately the parental units cleaned the oven yesterday (it was their fault from something they cooked), so it's not currently a danger anymore. (Whew. It was very alarming for a minute or two.)
I can make a small menu of things to eat, to varying degrees of 'good'.
Yeah, I was really tired, and trying not to find anything for you in the bad neighborhoods of which I am aware. Also, you do not look that bad on the video, and now you have something cool to show off on YouTube. Until I finish my episode 36, that is. Then there will be two videos. I didn't realize how much footage I actually have, but since my LJ serves as the host of most of my distractions, you'll see why I'm still up rather than waking up from the night before.
Geez, my video activities take forever. And, your leg injury concerns me. As well as your food burning. Being half-Mexican, I'm not allowed to not know how to cook, but the baking I learned on my own. Maybe we'll all need to do a potluck or something once you're out here (well, SoCal here).
Pleased to report that although it's taking a while, the leg is healing, so I don't believe I need to visit a medical unprofessional. Not what I would consider "significantly" sore anymore, and now falls into the realm of "oh, that's a bit painful", not "OMGGONNADIE".
You'd think that might be called "slight discomfort", but in medical terms, I've learned that phrase means "unremitting agony", so I won't use it for this.
Whether or not I look 'bad' on video is irrelevant to the fact that I don't like looking at pictures or video of myself. I find it very hard to be objective about how I ACTUALLY look. I don't mind so much OTHER people looking at it, I just find it uncomfortable for myself.
