Have brush fires!

(That has been the general response to news on the spreading fires: "Welcome to California!)

The "Also not on fire" came from my boyfriend's voicemail message to his pseudo-family in New York. "We're in California, also not on fire. Call for details."

I still think it's funny.

I'll feel better when we have someplace to live. I really, really unbelievably appreciate the hospitality that's been shown to us, but crashing on living room floors with multiple other people in the house is getting very stressful, both physically (PAIN this morning) and mentally.

There's probably more than three, I didn't count, but a good chunk of my flist is people from around here who all were at a party the other day.

Hello! Glad you made it safe and sound, although the apartment stuff must be a nightmare. I trust it'll work itself out soon, and I'm just glad you're not on fire.

And I had to lol at the sharps container thing 'cause I almost did that once. XD At least they're only like $2.

I located a Target today and obtained another one. I will not cap it this time, until it is full. Durrr.
