I have been mildly obsessed with the number 52 for over ten years. It's my favorite number. The obsession began over ten years ago when I first started directing live newscasts. Sometimes the master control operator would forget to give me a one minute cue and with the next cue being a 45 second cue i wanted something in between. Thus the 52 second
