Halloween was good. I'm finally coming down from my Kit Kat high. It was a quiet weekend overall. Given I was so tired I slept 12 hours Friday night, I think I was due a laid-back weekend. We only had maybe 30 trick-or-treaters, the least ever at my house. Our town now sponsors a “safe night” at a local park with candy/entertainment for the kids

Thank you! I'm glad we had the chance to hang out some at the ball. It's only been three months and it does seem like so long ago. Where does the time go? On my more cognitive days, I have theories on a time-sucking vortex. ;)

Thank you! I'm 46 and Matt will be 24 next month. Wow, I think he was 16 or 17 when I started my LJ so he's grown up on me in the meantime. Sort of. :P

That Snape was all over the hotel and HP theme park in his billowing cape but showed up at the Ball ball wearing a kilt. Very cool! I guess in the healthy breeze sense of the word, too. ;)

The children are adorable, but I have to say that the Jersey shore thing cracked me up big time! I was sitting here at the computer cackling like a crazy woman.

I don't watch that show, but I have seen parts of two episodes of Jerseylicious while I was puttering about the house, and they made over a Jersey girl this year on How Do I Look. I think if I was from New Jersey I'd be very much wanting to hide!
