Because there's no real analogue with national distribution, I think it's hard for Americans to have a real sense of the tabloids in Britain. I'm glad the Times makes explicit one of the seedier aspects of Fake George Fox's behavior w/r/t his friend: he went to visit her the night before Valentine's Day. I mean, obviously, he shouldn't have been going to visit her at all, but come on, dude. That's just uncalled for.

Philip and I went to see Morrissey tonight at the Roundhouse. It was okay. I can't say much for the new songs, but 'Why Don't You Find Out for Yourself' sounded particularly lovely.
