10 simple pleasures
Name ten of life's simple pleasures that you like most, then pick ten people to do the same. Try to be original and creative and not to use things that someone else has already used.
Yikes - no repeating will be difficult
so I'm going to way back into the past as well as the present
1. The most beautiful and simple pleasure in my life was the sound of my babies laughter ... nothing will ever come close to the way that sound made me feel inside.
2. Walking barefoot in the cool, wet sand on an ocean shoreline
3. Chatting with my on-line friends (bless you all - you have saved me from sanity!)
4. The smell in the air right after a rain storm; The smell of fresh baked bread
5. Blueberry Cheesecake; rum balls; cheese balls
6. Sitting on the deck with my husband, coffee or tea in hand, watching the sun rise
7. Going out for lunch with a close friend
8. DSL ... the lifesavers of internet connections!
9. Harry Potter novels; all my hundreds and hundreds of movies; TCM; NCIS; House MD
10. Every single hug I've had the privilege of receiving in my lifetime!
(and I simply must add one more)
Living in a country that allows me freedom (this is a big thing really, not so much a simple pleasure)
