Summary: a set of Let's five from blind_go chat. Since there were only three of us, you can guess what happened. ^^;

1. It keeps Touya focused on him and him alone.
2. People have started to expect them to fight, to the point that Ichikawa and the other men in the go salon have went past betting when Touya would walk out and Shindou would follow to just handing their stuff as they leave.
3. Well to be honest, Touya's really sexy when he's angry. It starts when he furrows his brow thinking of the stupid thing Shindou did, and then goes to violent rants and swinging arms, and when he does that, Shindou has to bring him outside for "calming down" aka an impromptu make out session. *thumbs up*
4. It traumatized Ogata when he once tried to check up on them. Always good to get even on the older Go player at every opportunity, right?
5. He wants Touya to try driving him UP THE WALL too sometimes! :D

1. His son finally has someone to ask when it comes to what looks good on him. Because Akiko might be the light of his life, but her taste in boys' fashion was questionable at best.
2. Well, Akira is definitely more lively since he met Shindou. He keeps hearing about the arguments they would have in the go salon, and it makes him glad that Akira could actually act his age rather than the model boy everyone has come to expect.
3. At least he doesn't have to worry so much about creepy older men texting or calling Akira. Because he can tell if it's Shindou who sent the message - his son has programmed his phone to play a rather rowdy tune for the other boy. And it's ringing constantly.
4. He's still hoping Shindou will introduce his son to some personable and lively girls, but he's not really expecting much.
5. - He doesn't mind it as much, because he's just glad Shindou was there to be Touya's friend/rival/what-else-they-are for the rest of their lives.

1. So one time Touya attended ooteai in the horrid violet and green sweater-vest thing, and Waya was about to tell him it looked terrible, when Shindou came in wearing a neon green shirt with squiggly splashes of the rainbow and a red and blue plaid polo.
Isumi had to keep Waya from gouging his eyes out.
2. Have you seen the way those two just circle around each other and do nothing? Seriously! It's been weeks since that awkward hand-holding incident, they had to have gotten over it by now.
3. Waya always loses ramen eating challenges against the two of them. You wouldn't think Touya's a fast ramen eater, but he's actually beaten Shindou twice in a row during black ramen eating battles.
4. Waya spends his 20th birthday drinking himself silly as he gripes about how how Touya and Shindou are sweeping the tournaments, and he's missed out on facing them in the Honinbou league by one match. Isumi is there to listen to him, and gets him home when he was practically dead to the world.
You can imagine what happened the next day. :)
5. It annoys him that whatever he does, they'd still play better Go together than against him. It's a blow to his pride as a Go player, dammit!

(Educational point of the day: Space cake is basically cake made with marijuana. I didn't know it even existed until this prompt!)
1. The afternoon ooteai matches were pretty much the craziest Go anyone ever played, and the facilitator had to stop Fuku and Shindou from enacting their go game as knights and warriors defending the tower.
2. Even the older generation were not immune - they had to stop people from playing strip go and acting like immature frat boys outside of the institute. Touya Meijin cracked filthy jokes for anyone to hear in the lobby. Shirakawa was giggling uncontrollably while lying down with his head on Ogata's lap. Ogata had his necktie around his head, smiling like he was stoned.
3. An investigation was made, but no one's figured out who left it there. They did find out that Honda and Amano-san were both huge crime scene investigation fans, so they had fingerprinting kits and even did a good cop, bad cop routine to the likely suspects.
4. Because of this, baked goods are now banned from the lunch menu. :(
5. Ogata had noticed the batch, but just as he was about to eat one he gave the slice a sniff, and put down. He said he just wasn't hungry, but if this was what people liked he would make a better batch for the next Touya study session.
Those brownies were a huge success.

1. You've seen them haven't you? The gorgeous displays, enticing you with the sheen of the modern. Black against silver, smooth white curves. Ashiwara was almost giddy with glee as he examined each and every one of those beauties with a bored Ogata beside him.
They've been looking for a new coffeemaker for almost an hour already, but Ashiwara was just too happy with the choices to decide.
2. He was so nervous the first time he was invited to a Touya study session he stuttered his greetings and ended up with a laugh that echoed in the silent room. Ogata was the first to greet him, and the handshake made his heart beat even faster than when he met the Meijin.
3. He'd known that it was going to turn into a failure when he poured the chicken oil and it just didn't taste quite like what he hoped, though it was still good. When he finally served the steaming bowl of ramen he watched Saeki eat it for a few minutes.
"Do you have some more?" Saeki asked, and Ashiwara smiled and prepared another bowl for him.
4. Everyone knew about the rivalry between the Touya and Morishita stables, and Ashiwara also knew that people found it weird that he liked hanging around with some of Morishita's students. But lazy Sundays with just the two of them was just the perfect way to relax and enjoy being together.
One time Saeki looked up at him from his game and just reached out for his hand, asking what Ashiwara was smiling about, and he had to shake his head and say it was nothing.
5. They always said that Christmas is the holiday for lovers, but Ashiwara spends with his family then, and Saeki with his. So he is surprised when on the last day of the year he sees Saeki at the doorstep.
"There's nowhere else to go," he says. Ashiwara is hurt for a moment before he adds, "What I meant is I'd rather start this new year with you."
