From what I've heard you read of it, and our various conversations thereabout, I agree entirely with the first half of your last paragraph. :)

I suspect there could be any number of directions to take with the world you've created as well, so more novels, or collection of shorts, might turn out equally grand.

I know from my own experiences that whether or not to do a sequel just sort of asserts itself all on its own. Your words will let you know (demanding things that they are). :)

I'm in a similar boat as far as progress and process. Sitting at 50k I'm temporarily taking a break to finish out my degree. I anticipate it will end up somewhere between 90 and 140. Time will tell. I'm in uncharted waters and just trying to go with the current. We'll see where it leads.

I'm intrigued to hear more about it! Let me know how it shapes up and how things are going. NaNo may be over but I'm still here to cheer you on. We novel buddies aren't just there for each other one month out of the year. :D
