There's a coffee shop in town that used to be a church. It has pews instead of chairs and still has its old stained-glass windows. It's so funny you bring this up because I just had a similar experience yesterday with a girl online. She was so inspired that I had my degree in writing and been published. She actually said that I was living her dream. It made me feel warm and fuzzy that I inspired her. Yet it also took me somewhat aback because I have so much farther to go in my eyes. Still, it's interesting, isn't it? Perhaps we are both farther down the road than we realize. We aren't at our destination yet, but we have both passed some pretty substantial milemarkers. I guess I'm saying, kudos to us and our journey!

I do consider myself a writer, and I don't think any writer is ever "done," but I'm not "living the life." I reserve that, I think, for those writers who are supporting themselves through their writing efforts. I'm not putting forth enough effort for that to happen yet.

I should really change that. :)
