first, i'd like to say that i like your background, but it makes your words hard to read.
second, i had fun today. i needed it. i know i don't really express it, but days like today help me not lose my mind. i'm glad you guys are my friends. yes, even dave's salty dog ass.
third, next time, you should shoot. at least once. i won't take pictures this time, but you gotta bust caps with us jess!
Shooting is fun, though the idea of using a remote neck of the woods for it somewhat irks me. Perhaps it's because there's not a singe piece of forrest here that doesn't have several people wandering around through it. Also, you're gonna disturb the sanctuary of a lot of animals.
I wonder whether I'd still be any good. I used to be a first-class marksman when I was in the military, but it has been several years, and I haven't even seen a gun since then.
you're reading into it too much - by remote, i mean noone goes there. it's not really the woods... it's a little valley at the edge of the woods with no tree cover at all. there aren't any animals, since trains run overhead fairly regularly, and it's gravel and dirt mostly. if anyone was coming, we could see them miles away. plus, if they're dumb enough to walk TOWARDS gunfire through tree cover..
*nod* probably. it's prolly one of those things you don't un-learn.
Ok, that type of remote makes more sense to me. Especially if you have a nice hillside to act asa bullet-wall. Mind you, there might be a few people coming the way of gunfire: Policemen and park-rangers, and you know... deaf people. ^_^
Though the actual shooting will be something you don't un-learn that quickly, accuracy will abate over time. Also I don't doubt that my quick-draw is a lot slower these days.

I used to hear it nightly when I was working at the Hotel. Q-104 had it on their regular rotation. I should have remembered from my time in Massachusetts that US Radio is better ;)
Then again...Opie and Anthony did kinda lower that bar with their "get laid in public and call us during or just after" contest.
