I'm not sure Sensodyne actually have a case, to be honest. Rhyming/similar-but-spelt-differently brands are fairly common. Whether that's a case of the original brand owner not bothering to stop them, or not being able to afford to, or whether it's because it's perfectly legal, I don't know.

And yes, GetUp are an NPO. It was set up by a few guys when Howard got control of both houses. So... three or four years ago?

From what I remember of their email, the ads also being shown on free-to-air tv, so I imagine the money not going to Qantas will now be spent on more frequent ads or a longer run. Probably a good thing, really, because they're likely to reach a much larger audience, depending on what times the ads air. And I'm not really sure what the benefit is of showing it to politicians? I think getting more of the public aware of it so they can complain en masse is more useful.

I'm not sure where the win is in our political climate being controlled by large business interests.
