A/N: This is just a drabble..or probably one-shot (haha) that I wrote during Biology class...cuz I was bored...lol^^

Wentz Eiji was…bored. It was 8 p.m. and he has nothing to do. Then, a thought crossed his mind, ‘Let’s see what Teppei is doing.’ So, he went to Teppei’s apartment.

When he arrived at Teppei’s apartment, he reached for his pocket. ‘Damn, I forgot to bring the key,’ Eiji cursed. He had a spare key to Teppei’s apartment and otherwise. So, Eiji rang the doorbell. About 4 times he rang but still no one answered. He tried knocking on the door but still Teppei didn’t answer.

‘Even a sleepy-head like Te-chan can’t be sleeping this early,’ Eiji thought. He chuckled at the thought. Eiji decided to try his luck. He turned the doorknob. The door opened. ‘That guy,’ Eiji chuckled again, this time at Teppei’s carelessness. Suddenly, some other thought crossed his mind.

‘What if someone broke in? Or what if Te-chan was hurt?’ Immediately, Eiji bolted into the apartment searching for Teppei. At last, he found his best friend sleeping soundlessly in his own room. Eiji ran his hand through his hair with an amused expression on his face. “I was worried and he was sleeping here all along,” he said to himself. But when Eiji saw his friend’s pale face, his expression immediately changed from amused to worried.

Although Teppei’s fan is switched, and not to mention the cold weather of January, the smaller guy between the two duos is still sweating. Eiji placed his palm on Teppei’s forehead, “Hot!” he commented, immediately pulling his hand away.

Teppei’s apartment is like his second home, so Eiji knew very well where everything is located. That is also why he knew there’s always some ‘cool fever’ in Teppei’s refrigerator. Teppei is a well-prepared guy. Eiji returned to Teppei’s room with a cool fever in his hand. After pushing back Teppei’s bangs from his forehead, he placed the cool fever on.

“Saa, Teppei might be hungry when he wakes up,” Eiji said with a mischievous smile on his face.

When Teppei woke up, he felt very dizzy. He felt hot and cold at the same time. His throat felt very dry. He tried to talk but he can’t. If Teppei were in a good condition, he’d wonder why he was in a different condition compare to before he was asleep. For example, he’s using a cool fever. But, as he was too dizzy, he can’t think straight. The only thing on his mind right now is a glass of water.

Teppei almost fell when he tried to stand up. He steadied himself by gripping on the chair. He walked towards the kitchen, tumbling almost all the way. Suddenly, he heard something crashed in his kitchen, followed by a loud “Kuso!” Teppei walked a few steps, his visions getting blurry. He was about to reach the kitchen, when…

THE KITCHEN

“Kuso!” Eiji cursed when one of Teppei’s favorite mugs fell to the floor and broke to pieces. ‘Te-chan’s going to be mad,’ he thought. Then, Eiji heard another crashing sound.

“That wasn’t me,” he commented to himself. When realization hit him, he shouted, “Teppei!” and immediately ran out of the kitchen, leaving the broken pieces of glass.

Eiji’s journey was short for he found Teppei lying just outside the kitchen. Beside Teppei was a fallen wooden chair, probably the ‘thump’ sound I heard before, Eiji concluded.

Eiji took the younger member of WaT in his hands, and carried him to his room. Teppei’s temperature was still high so Eiji took a small towel from Teppei’s drawer and wet it. Eiji gently pressed the wet towel on Teppei’s forehead.

Teppei regained consciousness not long after. Feeling the wet sensation on his skin, Teppei slowly opened his eyes. He saw a blurry image next to him.

“You’re finally awake,” the figure said.

When his visions became clear, Teppei called out, “Ei-chan?” Of course, thought Teppei. Who else would have the spare key to his apartment if it weren’t Wentz Eiji, his best friend and partner?

Eiji helped Teppei to sit comfortably on the bed. “What were you doing out of bed?” the half-Japanese asked.

“Water,” was Teppei’s croaky reply. His throat was still dry and it’s starting to get itchy too.

“Wait here, I’ll get it for you,” Eiji said. He left the room, and returned a few minutes later with a glass and a jug of warm water.
Teppei was about to say something, but was stopped by Eiji when he said, “Stay here for awhile, okay? There’s something I need to do.” As a reply, Teppei just gave his a nod.

After giving Teppei his water, Eiji returned to the kitchen again. Soon after, Teppei could here Eiji yelled, “Itai!” followed by a “Kuso!” When Eiji returned, Teppei gave him a worried look.

“I’ve made you a chicken porridge,” Eiji said as he proudly showed Teppei the food he cooked himself.

Teppei smiled at Eiji but the worried look was still on his face. “Thank you,” he said to the proudly smiling Eiji. Then, he asked, “What happened in the kitchen?”

“It’s nothing,” Eiji said, chuckling while scratching the back of his head. He didn’t want to worry Teppei but Teppei saw it. He saw Eiji’s red hand. Teppei took Eiji’s injured hand in his own while saying, “You hurt your hand.”

“It’s fine,” Eiji said. “It’ll heal soon.”

“No,” Teppei was about to get out of bed when Eiji stopped him.

“I won’t allow you to get out of bed,” Eiji said firmly.

“But-”

“No!” said Eiji. “I’ll apply some lotion later. First, eat.” He motioned towards the food.

Teppei sighed. He knew he couldn’t win against Eiji, not in this condition anyway. He slowly ate a spoonful of porridge. Although Teppei quickly covered his expression with a smile, but Eiji saw it.

“How does it taste?”

“Great,” Teppei lied. He faked a smile.

“Give me the spoon,” Eiji said, and took it before Teppei could even answer. He ate a spoonful of porridge. He cringed as he swallowed it, hard. Eiji looked at Teppei, who was trying to hide from him. The half-Japanese sighed as he sat beside Teppei.

“Sometimes I worry for you, Te-chan,” he said. “You’d always worry about others before yourself.”

“You’re my best friend, Ei-chan,” Teppei said.

Eiji laughed. “You’re impossible,” he said. He put his palm on Teppei’s forehead. Eiji sighed in relief. “Your fever has cooled down.”
“Thanks,” Teppei thanked his best friend.

Eiji smiled again. “Drink your water while I go and buy you something to eat.” He chuckled. “My cooking will poison you one day.”

“I’m not worried ‘cause I know you’ll look after me,” Teppei said with a smile.

Eiji ruffled Teppei’s hair. “I’m going now,” he said. He was about to walk away when Teppei took Eiji’s hand.

“Stay with me?”

Eiji can’t help but chuckle at Teppei’s childishness. “Sure.”

Not more than 10 minutes later, Teppei fell asleep. Quietly, Eiji went out of Teppei’s apartment. When he returned with the food, Teppei was still asleep.

Eiji looked at his best friend with an amused expression. ‘Despite his maturity, he really looks like a little child,’ he thought. He decided to leave the food in the kitchen and went back home.

The next day, Teppei woke up, feeling much better. He remembered slightly what happened last night. He went to the kitchen. On the table was some food with a note beside it.

Teppei read it out loud, “Te-chan, here’s some healthy food for you. (>_<) Sorry for your mug though, I’ll replace it soon, promise. (^0^).”

Teppei laughed at the note.

A/N: So, what do you think? I hope you all like it....hehe. It's my first WaT fanfic, so be nice..lol
