you know that smell that rises from the streets when it starts to rain? that smell makes me think of john coltrane and peace & serenity. that is probably my favorite smell ever in the world ever. what is yours?

It's hard to pick one.

But, Christmas time always smells good, and so does the swimming pool summer smell. my bus always has this distinct smell, too, because my bus driver sprays air freshener.

That tired summer smell. Your muscles ache and the sun is red and the size of a half dollar. The wind's blowing through the pecan trees and when you walk dust kicks up, red and white, and settles in you. It's that smell you get curling up to take a well deserved nap, the smell of red, and contentment. My grandpas farm, basically.
