"Onsen," Shirogane said firmly, holding the brochure up in front of Gaku's nose. "We're going to an onsen this time, Gaku. We did it your way last time."
This time, though? This time it was his turn and he had decided that they were going to relax in the soothing waters of the hot springs, maybe in the evening, just the two of them with the moon floating overhead, the cool water glistening in the dim light...
Gaku took the brochure out of his hands and flipped through the pages. "Okay."
"I mean it," he threatened. "No hiking. No--" He stopped abruptly. "Okay?" he repeated, blinking a couple of times as the answer slowly made its way to the front of his brain. He... really hadn't expected Gaku to agree as quickly as he had.
Gaku raised an eyebrow at him. "Why would I argue?" he pointed out. "I'm sure there's lots of things we can do at an onsen."
Going by the suggestive grin on Gaku's face, Shirogane had a pretty good idea of what Gaku meant by 'things we can do at an onsen' and in spite of himself he felt himself blushing. When would he learn to stop being embarrassed about that? he wondered. It wasn't like the idea was new or anything. "I'm sure there is," he managed, with as much composure as he could muster.
Gaku grinned and handed the brochure back by slapping it lightly against Shirogane's chest. "Don't pack too much," he suggested. "We won't need it."
