I'm pretty sure it's a spoiler-free AU. You already know Cooper has back pain and a pill problem. And I think Dewey has already re-appeared in S2 by S2.03. If not, he is mentioned here. There is a canon-based female character you may not have met yet (S2.05?)

If you want to wait until you've finished S2, I'll understand.
