What a day today has been...

So, not too long ago I went to the grocery store and bumped in to my grandma Judy and her grand daughter, Casey (my cousin..) My mom and Judy decided to have one of those grown-ups-only/kids-can't-hear conversations and shoo-ed us away. Apparently Casey-who is 14 and about to graduate from EIGHTH GRADE, mind you, likes a guy, Kenny, who works there. So, she decided to drag me along while we went to look for him. We didn't find him, but I mentioned the cute boy in the vegetable aisle, Josh. We looked for him and found him helping a customer. We went back to gramma and my mom and she left for a minute. Comes back with a smile telling me she mentioned me to Josh, he saw me when I walked in and thought I was cute, and that she told him I wanted his phone number. Flattered, I had to try to stop her because I was with David at this time. And, while Josh is GORGEOUS, I can't just leave David for him. So, I yanked her away from him and our two parties went their separate ways. I decided to set the record straight, so Josh didn't think that Casey just ran away (cause I pulled her away when he was turned around helping a woman put groceries into her car... and at that time, i had walked out right as Casey was asking for his number and the woman whose vehicle Josh was loading said "Oh, can I have your number too?" just kind of joking, but obviously hitting on him..) So, I walked over to Josh in the produce aisle and this is how our conversation went:
"I just thought I should come and explain myself."
"Oh, was it YOUR cousin?"
"Yea, she's 14 and thinks she's just the hottest thing around. So when I mentioned that I thought you were cute she decided to hunt you down and hit on you for me."
"Oh, ha ha."(he has a VERY sexy smile...)
"Yes. So, not that I don't appreciate it or anything... I just have a boyfriend. And, don't get me wrong, you're gorgeous, but I am, unfortunately, taken."
"Oh, ok."
"Sorry for any confusion or embarrassment this caused.. I know I was red.."
"Ha ha.. It's ok."
"Bye.."
"See ya."

So, that's how it went. And I left the store. That was about a week ago... Today was the first time I went back in there since this happened.. And he was there, again. So... since I am now single, I decided I'd strut myself a little. Besides, I AM looking amazingly cute today. Haha... Some things never change.. LoL. Anyway, so I go down the aisle pretending (terribly) to look for canned olives. I bump in to Kenny, the whole reason I got into the mess to begin with.. And I explained the story to HIM. HE decided to go over to Josh and let him know I was in aisle 7 (the bagged candy/cereal aisle) and that he should come talk to me. He said he was busy so I decided to go to the vegetable aisle MYSELF to go talk to him and here is how our SECOND conversation went:
"Ya know, it's the damnedest thing..."
"What's that?"
"Well, not long after the little fiasco we had my boyfriend broke up with me. SO, as it turns out, I'm single."
"Oh, yeah?"
"Yeah. So, I just thought I'd put that put there."
"Alright." (more of his sexy smile.. Hah.)\
"I'm going to go back to my potato chips now.."
"Alright."
"Bye Josh."
"Bye."

So, I found Kenny again in aisle 2 and told him what happened. He gets off at midnight. Josh gets off at 9pm. He said he would talk to Josh and see "What's up" and let me know the next time he sees me. Well, I decided I'm gonna go in tonight, after Josh gets off, of course, and ask Kenny what josh said. Ha ha ha..

And all of this rule breaking gutsy-ness was brought to you by the infamous saying, "What have I got to lose, right?"

YOUR DIGNITY! Biiiiiiiig deeeeaaaaaal. Ha ha ha...

And those are my adventures with Josh, the gorgeous Save-Mart boy. :)
