For those not in education, I apologise for the jargon but I am sure writing this will be therapeutic. Skip the first 2 paragraphs where I explain just what is happening and get on to the more interesting bits

Wow - thats pretty heavy duty. I didn't realise they'd ask for loads of documentation. When its all over perhaps you could give me a list of what they asked for so we can prepare.

From what I hear a lot does depend on the SEF and also your own knowledge of weaknesses and strengths. As a relative newcomer you should be ok though I know you will want to show off your best. I'll be praying for you loads. I've got an interview Wednesday through to Friday (If I make the shortlisting on Thursday) So perhaps you could throw in some words for me too.

I read John White's book when I was younger. I've just found it on my bookshelf and must re-read it again. I rememeber thinking it was very good.

I hope the reality isn't as painful as the waiting. At least its not six weeks!
