Well it has been over two weeks since we posted but that does not mean we have been inactive. Our families near and distant plus Eva's friends have been working very, very diligently with many meetings and innumerable emails to create a wonderful program for this Friday's celebration. It is a program which will honour Eva in the many facets of her

This is amazing, I can't wait to tune in - and the night before the CF walk I'm doing! Eva's made a huge impact on us all and it means the world to be able to join, even if far away.

Dear Mister Markvoort and family,
I didn't have the pleasure of knowing your daughter. i was only made aware of her when a mutual LJ friend passed on the sad news of her death on her LJ; so naturally being the curious person I am, i went to take a look at Eva's journal. i of course was very saddened to hear of what she was suffering with, and I have since gone to the beginning of her LJ and am still in the process of reading through to her dreaded recent entries. She sounded like an extremely lovely person and she was so strong and positive, even at the darkest moments. She was just so full of life, and it's so horrible that it was taken from her far too soon. I indeed wished I could have known her.
I added this blog to my LJ so I can receive these updates from her loved ones such as yourself.
She was a true inspiration and a fighter! Her journal has taught me a heck of a lot.
Thanks for continuing to share her LJ.
