In reality this list is really just a glimpse in to all the many ways that Eva impacted lives, and the world. Both within the CF community and beyond... Eva, you always have and will always continue to inspire me. Love, love, love!
It is so good to see an update here, and to see the ripple effects of Eva's legacy, her passion and her love. I'm so glad to see that her film is making its way to places beyond Canada - it needs to be seen by as many people as possible.
Sweet girl, you wanted to make a difference... And you have.
I cannot believe it's been six months already! Just recently I was thinking about dear Eva. Even though she's gone, and too early, it's amazing to me what a mark she made on this earth in her short life. My mother, who had never even heard of livejournal before, was telling me a story she read about Eva online (on CNN I think) and it made me smile. We'll love you forever Eva <3 Christmas will not be the same without your carols!
My continued condolences to you and your family. I recently received my copy of 65_RedRoses, and it broke my heart to watch it. My husband will soon be awaiting his own transplant, and it was both difficult and uplifting to see it on screen before we embark upon it ourselves.
Words like 'inspiration' and 'hero' are overused and have lost their impact...but these things truly define who Eva was. She championed our cause with a finesse that nobody else will be able to replicate. We miss you, Eva.
