i am beginning to get better at this. im finding my way round slowly...
but i am rather miserable right now as there is a rumour that AFI are splitting up.
ok i am not rather miserable im extremely miserable and i have been crying
but i still refuse to believe this rumour
they just cant do it!

Try not to be miserable... I'm sure even if they do split, they'll each come out with excititng solo things. I shall compile you a CD to cheer you up.

Probably some Christian Death. I think you'd like them. They were pretty much the originators of American goth punk and Deathrock along with The Misfits, but they're much darker and much better than them. Davey Havoc is obviously a fan of Rozz Williams, the singer, he's obviously influenced his style. Rozz died in 1998, the Christian Death currently on the go are a horrid, turgid load of black metal nonsense and not worth bothering with. In the meantime I recommend you look here, here and here"

Hey, I'm Jen. This post caught my eye because I got a press release regarding AFI when I got the promo of Miss Murder about a month ago. You probably already know this, but Davey and Jade are set to work on their electronic project Blaqkaudio soon (www.blaqkaudio.com), and apparantly the split rumours came about because of both this side-project and the muted critical reception of the new AFI album. But word is they don't have any intention of splitting up, though I think they're doing side-projects for a bit when they're finished touring.

thankyou soo omuch for the info!!! i tried to find blaqkaudio but i couldnt find a myspace for them! agen thankyou :)
i shall have to go see how amazing davey and jades work is
i love them :)
