Ah, it must be so scary. I never had to go thru something like that before but remember seeing it on TV as a kid and being scared that one day I might have too.
Those poor people there must be wrecks, specially those who have lots so much already. The world really is changing so dramatically :(

She is still drawing on Carrie's painting I guess. She is fine. (I hope)

I've been through too many of these storms. They are exciting and scary at the same time. I think she is still drawing. She sent two scans of Carrie's kids with the videos. I think just so she wouldn't lose them. :)

Looks like they might have lost power.

I think I would take a Hurricane over a tornado any day!!!! You have some warning for Hurricanes but not much if any for tornadoes. I could never live in Tornado Alley. LOL I'd be scared to go to sleep. :)

It is scary. I've never seen a tornado in person but damn I have been through them! I used to live in a valley right but the deepest point, which was a creek, in an old farm house. Man, that place has seen a LOT of tornadoes. Our storm cellar was an old school bus that was buried underground which was about 1/8 of a mile away. The whole land in front of the house, about 5-10 miles out was allll farming land. Well, with the exception of the hills about 2 miles away which had the Children's Home on top of it. It used to have a college up there that was wiped out by a tornado. So where I was located it was a tornado magnet.

Our living room had 8 windows, 4 two adjoining walls all next to each other. I used to sit on the quiltbox that was under them and watch the storms until it started to get REALLY rough.

Man I miss that old house though. I found out really fast the main reason why I don't like living in town, when it storms I LIKE to see everything around, me, like, to the ground. And I can't with all of the buildings in the way. >_
