Nooooooo

After all he'd been through and all he'd gotten through he deserved the chance to get past this too!
I'm in tears as I write this...no matter what cost the only reason I would EVER have an animal put to sleep if it was in pain, or to save it future pain.

I know... I can't tell you how hard it was for me to let you all know this. All the thoughts and prayers we thought were answered and then for this person to take it upon themselves to have him euthanized. Her saying she's sorry just doesn't cut it. :(

I'm just sick about this....

Thanks Sweetie! If only we could have gotten him to the rescue we had lined up for him, he'd have had a chance at a happy life and a forever home. This person makes me sick! Her to even be associated with the word "Rescue" is a joke. :(

Oh no! First the pit bull and now Wilson!*cries*
Um here's a thought...maybe if you stated your reasons maybe people would understand. Don't say "a few who understand and support the action for reasons many people do not understand" when you do not post your reasons behind the decision. grrrr

I suppose she has to make herself feel good by saying "a few understand and support the action".... geez, I haven't found one person that supported her action. :(

It's so hard when they can't be saved. Pit bulls, we have a time saving them. Even mixes. A lot of shelters/pounds won't even allow them to be adopted. :(

I don't even have to tell you how bad that pisses me off. I know you are feeling nothing less:/ How very fucking discouraging. Sorry Wilson... There's nothing like destroying group morale over something like this. You fight so hard and see so much death every day, and then you finally feel like you have a small win, only to have this happen. :(

(((((HUGS)))))

Thanks Misty! Some of our group have had to take a few days off from the board. This news just tore us all up and on top of that we lost two little terriers because they had kennel cough and the pound wouldn't let us rescue them. Hell, my two adopted pups got kennel cough and it was easily treated.

Thank goodness the blind spitz made it into a loving home and we got some good news about a German Shepherd that was in a pound that had been hit by a car and had fractured his pelvis. It was heartbreaking to see him in pain and laying on a cold concrete floor. An Angel appeared for this guy, a Vet has adopted him and will provide his medical care free. :) So, it is an up and down road. Some happy endings but way too many sad endings.

Thanks again for the Hugs!!!!! :)
