Okay, long time no update!!!!
Here goes.... first I don't have to take in any doggies. The two adorable boxer pups were adopted and gorgeous Chelsea girl found her forever home in NC through of all places MySpace!!! :)
MySpace is a lot of work but it is really paying off! Not so much in monetary donations but in spreading the word and other people are joining in to help our efforts and also have met some wonderful other rescue groups that are helping place the GA Death Row Dogs!!!!
I just love the young people that are getting involved. They are so concerned about the animals and Wow can they spread the word. LOL
We already have over 100 friends!!!
I want to thank all of you for your help and support for our making the MySpace page!!! Also, every single one of you have been so supportive and I appreciate it so much!!! Your good thoughts keeps us going!
We have saved so many lately that we just knew we couldn't save! It's like a miracle! Just today we had 2 adult dogs to die tomorrow am. Plus found out this afternoon about two pups that would die, another 2 pups and their mom that was deemed aggressive, all to be gassed in the morning!
Then 7 pups were dumped at the pound today that were only given 2 days to be adopted.
The situation seemed impossible as we had no room for anymore dogs and no funds! Out of nowhere our Treasurer, Suzy, found a group that would take them all if we pulled them. So barring any mishaps at the pound they all should be going to a safe place.
I truly believe our friends here and at MySpace are our good luck charms!!!
