I love how you have her holding the mane. That is how barebackers with no bridle on the horse ride.
There was a black pony at our barn. One day my son Jamie told me to jump on the back of the black pony he was riding bareback and he would give me a lift out to where our pony was so I could bring him in. Well, the black pony didn't like water and we had to go through a mud puddle. Guess what? The pony went ballistic!!!! We are in the middle of a large pool of water and my son yells "Jump Mom!". hahahahaha I had to jump off the rump of the pony right into that dirty water. LOL I walked the rest of the way.
Of course Jamie didn't fall off cuz he had a good hold of the black pony's long mane. He almost fell off though from laughing at me!!!! :)
I think that is one reason I love this ACEO! It's not only K.C. and a horsey but it brought back some really good memories!!!!!
Soooo I typed 3 paragraphs on that Yahoo email that was supposed to post here (5 minutes after you posted your response) and I see it never made it hmmph!! I was logged on but it didn't post on my LJ what's up with that? :(
Umm I think I said something about mane, stallion, baby horse...I don't know proper lingo please help :( I mean what's a stallion? Is a pony a baby horse or a miniature horse?
Finally I think I said, I bet you jumped off the pony as gracefully as a super hero :) I love memories like that - you'd hardly have those living in a the city ;) Love ya!!! Sorry for late post! xox
Stallion - male that can still produce babies :) Stallions are kept away from other horses cuz they will fight other males and of course will impregnate any females they can get to.
Gelding - male that has been castrated and can't produce babies (no balls)
Mare - female
Foal - baby
colt - male baby
filly - female baby
Pony - similar to horses but of smaller size (gets confusing... we had a registered Quarter Horse Mare that some called a pony cuz she was under a specific height but she was not a pony but a registered horse.... hahahaha) Mostly it is how tall they stand that determines if they are ponies.... but there are also specific pony breeds... Confused yet?
Miniature horses - similar to midget people... they are horses bred down to be tiny less than 34 inches and they look like a scaled down model of a large horse almost perfectly proportioned. LOL

I have a question! What's the story with the Ugliest Dog Sam?! I was looking through your pictures when I saw that! Is he real?????? I want to paint him! LOL Didn't you say that we could use any of the photos you post for reference? LOL
He is real and he is a celebrity. Sorry to say I didn't take the pic just posted it from the story (I uploaded it so as not to steal bandwidth). He is an actual breed (just uglier than most). :)
A painting inspired by him seems reasonable enough to me. Can't artists paint celebrities?
Any of my pics I take are free to all. I'm just not sure about the use of the few I didn't take but have for posting purposes.
