How are things?

Good! Things are good.

More specifically, how are things now that you've moved to Denver?

Very cool that you get to be close to so many magnificent scenes for photographing. Additional question: How do your housing options compare to living in NJ?

The housing situation in Denver is interesting - like in much of the rest of the country house prices have gone up like crazy. The original Denverites blame the east- and west-coasters and the Texans moving in, and they're probably not entirely wrong. Denver is still an attractive option if you are from those places and get paid well.

Compared to NJ though housing is just a peg less expensive here, though not by much. The size of the city makes it so that you can be in a central area of the city, while in NJ/NY you might end up in a suburb for something similar. I'm curious to see what'll happen next year, cost of living may increase further and rents could go up further, driving more people away from the city. My longer-term plan is to hopefully buy here, but for that first I need to continue saving and secondly I am hoping that the housing market will become a little more reasonable again. We'll see how it goes but so far I do really like this city!
