Hello everyone! I survived basic, but haven't been able to communicate with the outside world b/c of a lack of internet. I fixed that problem over Christmas break. I now have Cingular laptopconnect, which is pretty fast. It hums along close to DSL speed

That pic of Juls with the mountain in the background is really pretty. I would kill my own mama to be back in the mountains with a snowboard strapped to my feet.

Glad you had a nice break, even though we only got to hang out and chat for a couple hours. Maybe when the Navy's done with me we can coordinate our visits better.

Yea...it sucks that the military controls your every move. But, I thoroughly enjoyed our little conversation outside of Drew's before I left. I'll be back in April sometime (most likely) for a couple of weeks.

What's going on Nick, glad to see your alive and still kicking! Convince the Military to buy PS3's and Resistance Fall of Man so you can play online with us. But tell him it's for training purposes...yeah...training purposes!
