In doing some research to answer a health question from a friend, (and for myself, because my former raw milk connection no longer delivers and I need a fix!) I stumbled upon this amazing site: http://www.douglassreport.comRead more... )
so your best bet is to just listen to your body!i'm all for this. my body sends me some pretty strong messages. like around PMS time when i am craving iron sources & have to get my hands on it. I also crave raw salmon like no tomorrow. i'm not sure why that it, it's a physical lure, not a taste craving

That's so cute about you and your dad! Yeah, you look amazing without the extra water. Your skin is so beautiful and full of collagen. You're like Shaolin, you both look like your in your 20s!
I can't live without tea! I love all flavors (as long as it's caffinated): English breakfast, darjeeling, white tea, green tea, oolong, earl grey, even Lipton plan black tea ... they all have antioxidants. And best to drink it straight -- no milk, no sugar, no lemon, no honey ... that stuff takes away the antioxidants :)
Herb teas have their purposes too, they're good for night time, to relax.
And coffee's a big treat for me too. I went three years without it, and I recently started again last spring. I call coffee "happy juice." :)
I agree about the water, I've read that if your diet is balanced, enough water will come from fruits and veggies to hydrate you along with whatever liquids you drink. And the raw egg must be good for your hair, I was always told by my dad that a raw egg for your dog was good for their coat. I seem to be losing a lot of hair in the shower, I am going to add a raw egg to my diet.

I'm trying to think which one is the cutest -- I like Joan Blondell, she's like a Goldie Hawn :)
Joey Heatherton always reminded me of my mom in her younger years :)

I have some really good hair tips. I've always had thin hair, so I can tell when something is working.
* I recently started using a shower cap and not blow-drying as much. This helps a lot.
* Only washing once or twice a week.
* Put conditioner on before you wash. Let it sit in your hair at least 10 minutes. It will come out so silky smoothe.
For the first time in a year, I'm going more than four months without a hair cut!
Your hair always looks great! :)
