Now tell me ... right at this moment ...
What Christmas songs are you totally loving and which ones are grating your nerves? (They can be songs from any era as long as they are songs that you've been hearing like the last few days or so).

I am already sick of hearing the barking dogs.

And, yeah, Alvin is a cute one too ... I always loved the line about "I still want a hula hoop!" :)
I'm getting sick of the Charlie Brown one ... not "Christmas Time is Here" (which I love) but the main theme song ... why is that associated with Christmas?

Yeah, that's a good question about Charlie Brown, I never understood what was Christmasy about the theme either.
Oh! I also must listen to Little Drummer Boy by Joan Jett!

Any version of "Little Drummer Boy" grates on me, and I really hate that insipid Paul McCartney "Wonderful Christmas Time".

Ha-ha, I love that Paul McCartney song! Dennis hates it. And he hates that one "Mamasita, oh where is Santa Claus" ... I think it's so cute :)

It starts with Dennis's song, actually!
The WHAM! song really irritates me! BUT, I have a whole dirty parody that I do every year.

I LOVE the Pouges & The Pogues & Kristy McCaul songe, "A Fairytale of New York."
Christmas Wrapping, Little Drummer Boy by Bing & Bowie, Christmas Island. Ok, I'd be here forever. OH & The SLade xmas song...

I'm curious about the dirty parody!!
And, you know ... that Pogues & Kristy McCaul (is it McColl?) song is so cool, I listen to it year round. I don't even think of it as a Christmas song -- it's so much more :)
