Not a personal Bowie story, but one of Lisa's coworkers went to a Bowie show and brought a rose (she was close)... during the show she thrust the rose at him, Bowie reached down, took it and ate it!

That's a great Bowie story!! It's kind of similar to my Richard Butler story (who is pretty Bowie-esque) ... There's a line in a Furs song that goes, "We don't count our money, we're just giving it away." During that song my ex-boyfriend and I handed him dollar bills. He ripped them up and threw them into the audience!
At the end of the concert, a girl ran to the front of the stage screaming and gathered up the dollar bill pieces (obviously not because she was going to tape them together, but because she wanted a PIECE of Richard Butler!)
