In my advanced yoga class we tried something new ... I think it's a new fad, I never heard of it before ... it's called IRON YOGA!

You perform the standard yoga positions, using light hand-held weights, making the poses that much more intense.

My body feels like a millions bucks! I'm looking forward to more of this.

Lisa is thinking of taking an introductory yoga class with some friends at work... downtown during their lunch break... someone has a 2-1 pass or something

Oh she should!!!

Yoga is the best because you can get the hardest ass in the world without breaking a sweat!!

I see all these people in the gym busting their ass, and I'm like, "ha-ha, suckas!!!"

But don't get me wrong, yoga is CHALLENGING and hard and builds such amazing strength. Also massages your internal organs so you rarely get issues like constipation ... backaches heal quickly, no colds, good circulation, etc.

Anyone who sees yoga as something marshmallow, I laugh at :)

Wow. I mean WOW.

I still get the shakes and feel the pain just with regular poses. This would kill me right now. Something to set a goal for, but definitely not right now! You go, girl!

How long have you been doing yoga? I started in fourth grade and there are still some things I can't master, but I've really been pushing myself, trying to take classes three times a week and doing it at home too. Seems the more you do it, the more you want to do it and that's when your body gets the breakthrough. I finally mastered the frog stand. I'm great at balancing and backbends ... but put me up in the air without a wall, I freak! :)

I'm so inconsistent with my training. For awhile I was really into pilates, then I did a little sporadic yoga. Sometimes I practice every day, sometimes never (except in class). It's really no surprise I can't do a lot of things! I keep telling myself that if I'm not going to practice in between classes I shouldn't waste my time, but like you said, the more I go, the more I want to go and the more I want to do it.
