I am trying something new, after having watched a Madonna movie on Oxygen yesterday and thinking about self-reinvention. Instead of being cynical about expressing emotions on the internet and just unloading all my stress on my friends every time they call, I'm going to make a confession for all of the internet to see so that I won't have to talk

Earlier this summer I was getting really frustrated while I attempted to Find Myself. Now all I want to do is watch movies, drink ice cold drinks, become bff with Andy Mo, make pretend flyers for shows, and have an affair.

Finding Myself is so fucking hard. It's a fulltime job and I'm really bad at working when I'm not on the clock. Ice cold drinks has been a constant Summer goal of mine, too, specifically Summertime only cocktails on a patio, preferably out of a pitcher. I wish I could pursue becoming bff with Andy Mo, too. If you want to make one of the bands on your flyers the Kool Kidz, you have my permission--maybe someone will say "Oh yeah I remember them, I saw them play a couple times" cause that happened the first time around. Affairs are absolutely the best part of my life, and I think we can count that as work towards the originally stated goal of Finding Ourselves. Thank you, I really like your blogs, too.
