2007 in review
1. what did you do in 2007 that you'd never done before?
welded, mushrooms, got a job at panera making $9/hr, went to chicago, some other stuff but nothing exciting comes to mind.
2. did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
most of them, i already made some for 2008.
3. did anyone close to you give birth?
no
4. did anyone close to you die?
my grandmother on my mother's side.
5. what countries did you visit?
none.
6. what would you like to have in 2008 that you lacked in 2007?
more money, i guess.
7. what date from 2007 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
the day my grandmother died (i was babysitting when my mom called me with the news), hootenanny, ratification...
8. what was your biggest achievement of the year?
getting my sweet new job and joining rat patrol .
9. what was your biggest failure?
getting fired from target (a blessing in disguise)
10. did you suffer illness or injury?
just a few bad sick weeks.
11. what was the best thing you bought?
a 2006 schwinn stingray and WEED!
12. whose behavior merited celebration?
valerie's been more pleasant to be around (i guess cause i see her less). i'm proud of becca, too for doing so well in school and making a career for herself. daniel merits a mention, too.
13. whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
sarah didn't appall me, but i'm disappointed that she won't get a proper job so we can spend more time together.
14. where did most of your money go?
rent.
15. what did you get really, really, really excited about?
art, living with reid, rat patrol, bikes, danny madness.
16. what song will always remind you of 2007?
a lot. the whole justice album, M.I.A.'s jimmy and andrew w.k. with party til you puke to name a few.

happier or sadder? happier.
older or wiser? i feel younger yet wiser.

street art for the most part... drink.

be unemployed.

reid's family wants to come down next year.

hopefully better than this year's.

i'm always falling in love.

the people's court and some stuff i bought on DVD.

i don't really hate anyone anymore.

oh man. i can't even think... i mostly reread books.

there were about a million. local-wise there was a good handful, too.

nothing i could just take.

the darjeeling limited.

i don't recall doing anything special. reid probably did something for me that i don't recall. i turned 20.
32. what one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
if my landlord had DIED!

i've begun wearing more layers (my house is pretty cold). i look pretty grungy for the most part.
34. what kept you sane?
drugs and alcohol (i don't care if that sounds healthy or not), bikes and my friends.

johnny payphone!
36. what political issue stirred you the most?
i'm sure there was something, but nothing comes to mind. i don't let the real world effect me much.

sarah and a few other high school friends, reid when he or i was away, danny madness towards the end of the year.
38. who was the best new person you met?
danny madness, though i love all my other friends i made last year like cj, walker, glenn, clara, austin, casper, joey, etc. etc.
