Man! Alex and Dad have been all congested. Alex and Autumn have a weird sore throat and been poopy lately. I think there's something going around. I don't want it so I've been careful.

We all look weird in makeup, because no one ever "taught" us make up. Mom was telling me her theory on that the other day while watching Mad Men.

isn't it HER job to teach us that stuff? besides, mom doesn't wear make-up and she was in theatre, so i feel like even if she did teach us how to apply make-up, we'd just end up looking gaudy.
