Well, this is interesting.
Here is a sentence:
Кевин очень спешит,его ждёт такси.(Kevin's in a hurry,the taxi's waiting)
Okay..then we have:
Преподавательница очень спешит, её ждут студенты.(Is this correct? The teacher is in a hurry, the ctudents are waiting for her.)
So, I think it will be: Её ждут студенты. Students

Лиза ждёт Николая = Liza is waiting for Nikolai.
Николай ждёт Лизу = Nikolai is waiting for Liza.
Она очень спешит, её ждёт муж = She's in a hurry, her husband's waiting for her.
Она дома и ждёт мужа = She is at home and waiting for her husband (to come).

и
Students wait for her.
На русском всё просто - и там, и там это означает "Её ждут студенты". А почему тогда на английском пишется по разному?
