It's so nice to see that someone is so interested in studying our notoriously difficult language! Your results are really impressive and your enthusiasm is incredibly heart-touching and inspiring. I beg of you - hang on there and keep up the great work! Learning new languages ALWAYS gives off, even when you don't use them at all in your everyday life. It improves your logic and reasoning, trains a flexible and quick mind and also is a great memory-booster.)
I wish the best of luck to you and am sure that you've got it all to be one of the best Russian-speaking non-Russians that I know! And as I happen to be a linguist meself - believe me, that's quite something ;)
