These are fabulous! It has such a rustic feel to it. The duck in the pond, however, is the reason I would move into the house. Ducks! <3

Haha, yeah, ducks are awesome! I have a whole bunch of them in the pond behind my house and i love feeding them my old bread. They are so cute and funny at the same time.
Thank you :)

You're so lucky! Do they not fly away? I used to love feeding the ducks and ducklings in Kensington Gardens in London, but the majority of birds there are geese and swans. Swans are okay, but geese are mean. Dx

No, they hang by my fence. There's a tree there and they like chilling in the shade. The most i've ever seen them fly is to the other side of the pond. And it's really cute, when i go out there with the bread, if their babies are on the other side of the pond, they would go get them, come back and let the babies eat first. It's sooo cute!
Haha, geese are mean? I don't think i've ever interacted with any, so i didn't know that.

Hahah, they are cooking themselves for dinner :D
Awww, you actually had them as pets? That's awesome! I have no idea if you can get them as pets around here... but i live in FL and around here there are tons of ponds with ducks everywhere, so i guess people wouldn't be that interested in buying them. I've lived in quite a few places for the 6 years i've been here and there has always been a pond with ducks in the back. Do you think they would still be at your grandpa's pond? I have no idea how long ducks live... It seems that the ones here change quite often, so i always assumed they just don't live that long.

They are pretty funny. I think all birds are, actually. My hubby always makes fun at me, because i see birds and i start giggling. All of them just have this dumb look on their faces and the way they move their heads when they walk... and when ducks start shaking their butts, i can just die laughing :D
