My workgroup had a demonstration day, and this was my latest project. It is intended to be a set of handheld music/sound devices that promote social interaction. We made prototypes and software simulations, and will be creating more over the next couple of weeks.

M, who we met in Sydney and who went diving and sightseeing with us in Cairns, stayed a couple of weeks longer in Australia than we did. She just got back and sent us her photos, so I finally have photographic evidence that, yes, I went scuba diving!!!

My experience with learning a difficult language like French (as opposed to Esperanto) is that one cycles back and forth between feeling success and failure. Yesterday, I had a great French day. I'm headed back to Austin May 13th and will be staying through Flipside (June 1). I'm stoopid excited to see everyone and eat some great Mexican food. I have no group events planned, but I sure would love to get together with folks.
