I just got home from the hospital.  She seems to be doing fine; the doctor said they'd ended up doing only a *quadruple* bypass; that fifth one was unnecessary.  When I walked in to her room in the cardiac ICU, she was sitting up in a chair/bed thing (whatever those are called), watching TV and eating lunch.  She said, "I probably look really

I'm so glad she is okay! I will say that if she starts having a lot of upper body/shoulder pain from that air trapped in her body that is totally normal...I had surgery in January and I swear that pain was worse than the incision sites! And it was awful for about two days and then got better. I think chamomile tea is supposed to help with it....
Anyway, I am sooo relieved for you! :)
