I love Codex/Fawkes but now I feel bad for poor Gary! In short: Great fic!

Is there a chance for a sequel where Codex/Fawkes happens and Gary gets an awesome girl?

Okay, I almost ended up shipping Gary/Codex by the end there, even if Fawkes was actually selfless for once.
Gary shouldn't have to feel like all there is left for him to do is step down if a girl looks at Fawkes. Poor Gary.

Really liked how you did this.

ETA: Read first fic as well.
Loved Codex getting some attention, because she really would.
Also, fainting couch!
The final few lines, about them clinging to each other and Fawkes kissing Codex's head were really cute.
