hah, my happiness ebbs in and out sometimes. Fairly excited one moment and then sort of sad the next by the acts of one person. Interesting.
Lets see, whats been going on in my life...
I did terrible on my german test and that depressed me on friday. But then I had my highly anticipated time with Dave at the library so that brought my spirits up. We are going to try to hang out next week. He makes me so happy.
Friday night I hung out with some guy that is the roomate of my roomates good friend. That was kind of chill. Oh, but before I did that, Dakota and I went to Fred Myer to develop pictures and buy food, it was fun. I went to the theatre but the doors were locked so I couldn't very well get in to help focus lights. That night I accidently slept in said guy's bed, it was okay I guess.
Saturday morning I got up around 8:30, went back to my room, took a quick shower and left for the german hike. We went to Mt. Hood, it was sweeeet! It was quite chilly, but once we started walking it was perfect. There were quite a few people who were not avid hikers and so I was not left in the dust. We stopped to eat lunch after a bit and had bread, cheese, meet, and a wonderful assortment of german candy.
Maybe I'll post a few pictures from the hike.
On the way back we stopped at the awesome german store...I cannot recall its name, and I bought fun stuff.
We got back a little after 5, and I had a short turn around time to leave for the play; "The Flu Season." I left an hour earlier than everyone else so that I could stop at freddys and pick up my pictures, then I joined them on the Raz and we headed into town. Well, the 15 bus was incredibly late and we almost gave up on getting to the theatre on time. But we bairly made it in the end and watched the show. It was alright, some of our group didn't really like it, I sort of liked it. Like, it wasn't one of those plays that just blows you away and is so amazingly enjoyable to watch, but on the other hand it was still enjoyable. The acting was pretty good.
After that we went to portland coffe house to wait until the bus came. While we were waiting outside nordstroms I ran accross the street and walked over by the steps & rails & water. I stood on the steps for a moment then realized that the rail is where I needed to be. So I went and stood by the rail for a moment, closed my eyes, then proceeded back to wait for the bus.
When we got back to campus, this would have been a good time to go to bed. I was actually going to take a walk alone over to south campus, do a little thinking, a little singing, probably some tears, maybe some yoga...I kind of wish I had.
But, Dakota and I had good times. We walked around, ended up in templeton acting out a scene from Moulin Rouge. It was rediculous but fun. When I finally got to bed it was about 3, and I had to get up around 8:30. I need to stop going off of Catasha's clock because I think it is slow, I got to the library late today because of that. Now I'm tired, sitting in the library. I have helped one person in the past hour and a half. chow.
oh, and ps. I miss you jeremy. Everything I do with other people makes me think of how much more fun it would be to be with you.
