I've posted about almost all of these dolls here already, but I recently got an order for another Anne Boleyn doll and the buyer allowed me to fulfill a project I've been hatching ever since I began recreating Tudor figures: a detachable head for Anne.

Discussing this with a friend while preparing for an Elizabethan-era Ren Faire.

How did Elizabeth perceive her mother? Anne died rather early in Elizabeth's life, early enough that she probably would have had to learn about who she was from third parties who would have probably painted a rather biased picture to her of Anne the adulteress.

Where she got this thought from it is not quite clear, perhaps because her brother and co accused had been executed on the 17th it was only logical that she, also condemned, was to die the next day.
