[Kevas is getting tired of wearing the same few clothes over and over again. It's time get some new wardrobes. Unfortunately it's a little hard when you're seven feet tall. Of course once he enters the Clothier's Tower he can't help but notice Rapunzel all by her lonesome.]

Sweetheart? Whatchu be doin' in here all by joorself?

[She looked up from her task of sewing herself a new gown when she hears him, and she looks up and gives him a tired smile that doesn't quite reach her eyes.]

Oh...hi, Kevas. [She brushes a strand away from her face.]

I'm just sewing myself something new. [She holds up a mostly finished dress.]

What do you think?

[That smile isn't convincing at all. Cue his worry wort mode.

He steps beside her and kneels down, smiling for her.]

I t'ink it be real nice.

[Of course he knows nothing about dresses other than how to take them off the ladymons.]

I’ve had a lot of practice.

[She lets the gown fall into her lap, needle resting lightly between her fingertips. She’s been sitting here like this for a while, mindlessly sewing.]

If you want, I can make you something.

[It’d give her something to do.]

[There's a giant passing by who pauses at the sight of the lone girl. Now that just doesn't sit right with him. Dos pauses, debating whether to get involved or not and starts towards her.]

Hey kiddo. You alright?

[She looks up at Dos as he passes, eyes widening a little at his er…size.]

Oh, um. I’m just…sewing.

[She’s aware she didn’t answer the question, but avoiding it is better than lying and saying ‘yes, everything is just fine’.]

[If he's scaring kids again, Sycora is gonna be on his case about it. Dos leans in the doorway and shoots her a small smile.]

Sewing huh? I can't say I know much about that.

[C'mon Rapunzel. Dos might be giant with black eyes and tattoos, but he's a nice guy.]

[She swallows, eyes still wide.

Okay, she can do this. She can totally do this. She's friends with a giant troll, she can do this. No problem.]

[Sorting out your own laundry was hard. It was harder still when you had to pick out spare clothes to wear in the meantime, but you had no idea how any of the spare clothes worked. Kairi had tried to pick a time to come and look when nobody else would be around so that she could just try things on and figure it out.

But that obviously hadn't worked.

She spoke from the doorway.]

Um. Hello.

[Rapunzel was squinting at her handiwork in her lap, needle poised and her tongue sticking out of the corner of her mouth as she scrutinized her newest seam. She jumps when she hears a voice.]

[The needle falls and Rapunzel scrambles to her feet.]

[Kairi almost jumps when she startles the other girl.]

Heh, I'm sorry.

[She walks into the room and picks up the needle as it starts to roll away. She reaches out a hand, offering it back to the other girl.]

Do you work here?

[She reaches to carefully take the needle, then smiles and shakes her head.]

Oh, no no...I'm just trying to sew myself a dress, that's all. This seemed like the best place to do that...

[She blinked at her.]
