I personally prefer the 1978 remake of Invasion of the Body Snatchers, and I say that as someone who is not usually a fan of remakes. (The 1990s Body Snatchers is pretty dreadful, on the other hand)

Of course, I also find The Exorcist to be a gross-out film that thinks it's High Art and I wouldn't put Underworld on a Top ten List of anything, except maybe "Top Ten Cures For Insomnia".

But no Texas Chainsaw Massacre? Dawn of the Dead? Halloween? Psycho? The Fog? (etc etc etc)

Texas Chain Saw Massacre might be famous, but it's not very good. Dawn of the Dead I did like. And Psycho is a classic. But I still think the ten there are the better ones.

Psh. Must disagree with you on Massacre. It's basically my favorite horror movie of all time.
