[Hospital - Bobby's asleep. He's pale, still feverish and has oxygen tubes in. As he breathes, you can tell it's a bit labored as the virus is starting to affect his respiratory system.

He's also not sleeping well, occasionally mumbling, both angrily and worriedly - mostly about Sam.]

Bobby wakes up with a start, not really sure where he is, the echoes of his dream still ringing in his mind. He struggles a bit to breathe through his disorientation, and it's the feel of the oxygen tubes that finally grounds him.

Hospital, the fever, the damn bugs.

He looks around the dim room and sees a dim figure sitting across the room. It takes him a minute to recognize his visitor.

"...Sam?"

Sam goes in and out of focus as he moves closer to Bobby, hovering. And as much as he hates to admit it, it makes him uneasy. Half the time, Bobby's not sure who Sam is anymore, how far that demon's got her hooks in him. Possession's easy to understand - what Sam's doing? That's got him confused.

He makes a motion with his hand to the chair next to the bed, hoping Sam gets the hint.

He tries to clear his throat, "M'feelin old."

On his way to "one last test," which is a phrase he's learned not to believe, Niko notices something, or rather someone. Fortunately he's with the nurse who's more interested in his looks than his blood values (to be fair, she's also better at her job than the counterpart he nearly throttled the other day), and it only takes a simple, "He's a friend," to tap her sympathies.

"We'll have to wait on the radiologist anyway," she says, after checking to make sure what Bobby has isn't something Niko's likely to catch and vice versa. "You might as well wait here." She even offers them the illusion of privacy by waiting at the door after she's wheeled Niko close enough to talk if Bobby's feeling up to it.

Bobby can hear the wheel-chair brought it and when he cracks his eyes, he's surprised to see Niko sitting next to him. He couldn't remember if he knew Niko was in the hospital or not, and with the fever, he doesn't want to try. Instead he raises his eyebrows a bit and speaks as best he can.

"Funny... seein' you here."

"I'm overcome by amusement," Niko replies in a dry tone. Bobby doesn't look fit for a comedy routine, though he could probably use an excuse to laugh.

"We were passing by." He indicates the nurse with a slight tilt of his head. "I didn't know you were here."

"Came in... huh... 'while ago." He can't quite remember. Thursday? Friday? He can't even remember what day it is today so he supposes it doesn't matter.

"You?"

It took Rain a while to get up the courage to slip into the hospital - they were scary scary places - and make her way to Bobby's room. Once there, though, she settled down in a chair close by and just held his hand. not wanting to bother him too much while he slept, but hoping her touch would help convey a sense of calm and safety to him.

The touch of a woman's hand is confusing as Bobby slowly wakes up again, looking again through bleary eyes.

Rain managed a small smile for him. "Just sleep, Bobby. I just wanted to check on you."

The voice was familiar, and Bobby turned toward it.

"Miss Rain... what a... pretty face t'wake... up to." Even as tired as he was, he managed to give Rain a smile and a small return squeeze of the hand.

Dean hates hospitals. He hates them because they smell like death and look like slow insanity. Then again, Dean's never been a particularly optimistic person. He hates them especially lately because people he loves, the only people he loves, keep ending up spending time in them. Sometimes because he's put them there. Even at night, this one is always busy with strangers. Strangers absorbed with their own lives, and who can blame them? Not Dean.

The come and go in the blue hours of early, early morning, even as Dean pulls up to Bobby's open door and leans against the frame, squinting tired eyes. Strains of Bobby's rough whiskey voice filter through. He catches words on sharp hearing here and there, mostly about his brother.

Quietly, hesitantly-- almost as if he is afraid to actually be heard, even though he's calling out, he mutters Bobby's name.

"Bobby. You in there?"

He knows he's been in and out fading dream and reality, but the few conversations he's managed have been mostly coherent so he figures he's improving. At the very least when the voice in the doorway speaks he can recognize the worried owner.

Dragging in a ragged breath, he opens his eyes, "...Dean? In... or out?"
